Watchers

This is so last minute but Green Lantern: The Animated Series is premiering on Cartoon Network, Fri. Nov. 11, 7 p.m. which in some cases is right now. Heartfelt thanks to my crew: Christopher Berkeley, Jake Castorena (~jakecastorena), Chrissy Delk (~ChrissyDelk), and Olga Ulanova (~urdsama). Couldn't have done it without you guys!

Who voiced Veon, Skallox, and Bumpy (spelled right?) in "Flight Club"?

And yay for the Spurs (fan right?)

Veon = Jason Spisak
Skallox = Kevin Michael Richardson
Bumpy = Rob Paulsen

You a Spurs fan too? Hoping this is their year! You can tweet me if you want a quicker response (_samliu). I don't check DA all that often.

Thanks! That must have been fun watching Paulsen record Bumpy's lines. Yeah, I'm a fan. They turned out strong this 'abbreviated' season. For a second, I thought OKC was going to stomp over the western division. I don't tweet, thus I use DA.

Great job on "...In Love and War"! Man, that set piece with all the crystallized victims must have been a lot of work.

And who voiced Aga'po, Ghia'ta, and the Sapphire Ring that was sent to Carol?

Wasn't an episode you directed but Kevin Michael Richardson as Mogo in "Lost Planet" last week and Grey DeLisle as Bleez in "Reckoning" today?

Really big thumbs up on "Reckoning" even though Kilowog got put through the wringer. Did you do the stain glass art in Atrocitus' shrine?

Yep to both voice actors. Joey Mason I believe did the stained glass window image. Love the stylization and the way it turned out.

Thanks! Definitely came out great. Noticed a lot of fans asking why Razer didn't also strip Atrocitus of his ring and take him prisoner on the ship. Any comment?

Shoot I realize I didn't really answer your question.

The omitted scenes I mentioned was to to imply if he stayed any longer the red army would be on them and they would be overwhelmed. Aya's line "If we do not leave now, we will all die" ideally was suppose to sell that idea. So the two options being, kill Atrocitus out of vengeance or flee with Aya before they are overrun. Atrocitus regains consciousness towards the end as well so they would have to fight him again if they want to take him prisoner.

Ultimately I think Razer is a good guy that had a lot of bad things happen to him. He has done some questionable things but the influence of the GLs puts him on the path of redemption. The point of the story I feel (or at least Razer arc) is Razer does the "right" thing in the end.
