Big Barda turn for Warner Brothers Animation's Superman/Batman Apocalypse DTV.

:iconjohnsonverse: did this turn on Barda with some touch ups from me. Especially the face since she was my favorite of this movie and I had a pretty specific look I was trying to get.

Great Take on Barda

I loved the face! I really loved how different she is from Wonder Woman. She kind of reminded me of a young Lucy Lawless, very sharp features but at the same time very beautiful.

The face resembles Jennifer Garner a lot. It's really good!

Doesn't Barda actually even dwarf Superman in Superman/Batman Apocalypse? :)

All your character turn-arounds look great I love em!! They're all very well structured, however I see one big flaw you keep repeating in your artwork.. the ankle bones are angled in the wrong direction. You keep drawing the outer bone higher, the inner bone lower but it should be reversed.
Instead ..The outer bone should be lower, the inner bone higher.
Here's two images to prove it: 1, 2
Just wanted to let you know cause its a really easy fix in future drawings. Everything else looks perfect! Keep up the good work. :D

Haha thanks. That was the most polite and clear and through (with reference even) critique I've had in a while. You are 100% right and I don't have a good reason why I do that. When I get to the ankle area I just instinctively pull the line to that point. I'll keep an eye out in the future and rethink my shorthand.

Good looking out!

Hey no problem. :D Glad I could help a fellow artist & again you're doing great! Also thanks for your response. I wasn't sure how you'd take the critique at first but like I said everything is looking pretty solid, you're like at a pro-level right now. Take care and hope you have a lovely day.
